George has a snazzy new backpack.

He also has a niffty new boardbook/finger puppet from his dear great aunt.

And a new red fire chief hat or "hauut" in George speak.

Here we are in March

I know its been while since we updated, but we are all doing quite well. This week George talked! It is still pretty much incoherent. But "bah" is ball. "Kenk" is stink. "Uhnk" oink. "Tase" is taste. My favorite is the long southern sounding "Hhhiii."

The morning starts off right with a stack of pancakes. George has his reservations about candles.

Then we picked up Grandma from the airport. We loved playing with her.

Next comes the birthday cake. And another dubious candle. While candle blowing isn't my forte, eating certainly is.

Then comes PRESENTS!!!! Here's to being ONE!
